Flirting Body Language

When you’re flirting with someone, conversation is important, but what’s even more important is your body language. From coy glances, to subtle touches of your date’s arm, body language plays an integral role in flirting. Flirting, which is one of the most widespread and significant human interactions, is an important behavior for building relationships.

(Note: If you’re a guy and you want to get better at flirting with girls, Language of Desire is an absolute must-have product on this subject.)

Some people struggle to use body language to convey a romantic attraction and some people don’t know how to read body language properly. If that’s the case for you, then these simple tips can help you.

How to Pick up on Body Language Signs of Attraction

Reading body language can be tough, so whether you are dating a man, or a woman, the following tips can be very useful.

– Reading Male Body Language

Facial Expressions: Men like to use facial expressions to convey attraction. If he tilts his head slightly as he’s talking to you, this can be a sign that your date likes you. Also, watch out for flirtatious smiles, and animated facial expressions.

Touching and Closeness: If he keeps moving closer to you, then it could mean that he really likes you. When a man is interested in you romantically, he will want to sit or stand as close to you as possible. Also, he will likely break the touch barrier. If you notice that he touches your arm, shoulder or back as you talk to each other, then he likes you.

Watch his Hands: Watching a man’s hands can tell you a great deal about how he feels about you. If he nervously plays with his hands, this is a sign that he’s interested in you, and he’s a little nervous around you as a result.

Another signal to look out for is where he puts his arm when he’s sitting next to you. If he puts his arm behind you, on the back of your chair, then this is a sign that he likes you, and that he wants to put his arm around you.

– Reading Female Body Language

Giggling: If a woman laughs a lot at what you have to say, this is a fairly strong sign that she is interested in you. Giggling is a very flirtatious behavior.

Leaning in to Talk: If your date leans in to you closely to talk to you, almost as though she is sharing a secret with you, then this is a sign that she’s interested in you romantically. She wants to be close to you.

Eye Contact: If she likes you, she will make eye contact with you. If she maintains eye contact with you for slightly longer than usually, then it’s a clear sign that she’s interested in you in a romantic way.

Closeness: When you standing together or sitting together, she will likely want to be close to you, if she’s interested in you romantically. If she’s crossing her arms and standing away from you, then she’s not interested. However, if she’s standing close to you, and she keeps touching you, then that’s a sign that she likes you.

Playing with her Hair: Do you notice that our date is touching her hair, running her fingers through it or twirling it? If so, it’s a fairly clear sign that she’s interested. Women play with their hair as a way to flirt with men. So if you find that she’s touching her hair often, she’s flirting with you.

Overall, learning to read people’s body language accurately takes time. The more you do it, however, the better you will get at it. Remember, however, that flirting is supposed to be fun, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
